What is this shit? It’s disgusting. I seriously feel like vomiting every time I look at the lyrics. Writing a song about date rape? No. That’s not something you do unless you have been affected personally by it and you want to heal yourself. This is not acceptable.
And before I get into it I know what is coming:
NO. I get it. Jin is attractive. Jin is a idol. You want to ride his dick. You want to believe he is perfect. You want him to love you. You think that if you disagree with him he will hate you and you won’t marry him. Well let me ask you something. Is he worth it if he thinks it is okay to say these things? I’d say no. You deserve someone who is not a piece of shit. You deserve someone who will treat you like an actual person and who is considerate.

Okay I get that the phrase “that’s what she said.” is a joke. I get that. I use it too. I understand that most of this can read like a double entendre. It’s not that I object to. I think it could be funny if done right. Perhaps no very sophisticated but whatever. It’s this :

That combined with her protesting is what is so disturbing to me. Talking about a dumb girl passing out after drinking and then putting sex after it? Yeah no. Not funny. Not in good taste at all. Quite disgusting actually.

It’s not the fact that it’s about sex that I disapprove of. It’s the fact that it isn’t consensual.

That doesn’t seem consensual at all and you shouldn’t have to wait until girls pass out or are totally drunk to sleep with them. Also it’s clear from the use of slut, dumb, bitch that he doesn’t respect this girl and implies to me at least that she deserves to get raped because it’s her own fault that she is attractive looking and “stupid” enough to get plastered.
Why couldn’t he make a song about having a great time with some girl? Was is that hard to write something about having great sex where you were a hero and gave her the greatest orgasm ever? I don’t think so. It’s the fact that he wrote about date rape.

It’s fine if they were a couple and sat down and decided that they wanted to be rough in the bedroom or that this is a turn on for them. However I don’t really see any indication of this. Again he was calling her names and wanting her to blackout/get drunk so she would have sex with him.
The minute she says no I don’t want this he should stop. If he goes any further than that it’s rape.
It’s sad because a lot of people think if pleasure comes from pain it makes it okay. Sex is pleasurable. It isn’t wrong to feel pleasure from sexual abuse. Lots of people do. By saying that it’s consensual if liked it is making the victim feel like they shouldn’t be uncomfortable if they are getting pleasure out of it and that they wanted it because it felt good. This also keeps them quiet a lot of times about their abuse because as I said they think it’s their fault because they are sending mixed signals or making the person do this to them.
“But this song had sweet and meaningful lyrics.”
So? That isn’t relevant. He still said terrible things in this song. If I compliment someone and then insult them it doesn’t make them feel good. You can’t be a nice person if you say terrible things some of the time. It’s ridiculous that it’s even being suggested to ignore this because he said some sweet things in other songs.

He knows what he was doing. There’s no cultural difference. A girl is a girl. You don’t rape her. I know plenty of stupid people and they know saying this stuff and date rape is wrong. You don’t have to be a genius to figure out that no does not mean yes and that you shouldn’t force a girl to do something she doesn’t want to do. Plus even if he is that dumb it doesn’t excuse him.

Yes because all Americans party and drink 24/7 and rape girls. Not only is he an asshole for writing about this he’s also an asshole for assuming that all Americans are crazy sex addicts and that the girls always want sex so when they say no they mean yes and that’s it’s okay in America to get women so drunk that they fuck you.
“You have to use this type of language to be successful.”
Why? Is someone forcing him to write these lyrics? No they aren’t. He has other songs where he doesn’t feel the need to write about date rape. If that was the case then why wouldn’t all of his songs be like that? I’m not denying that a lot of rap is highly sexual and that some of them have terrible views on women but he doesn’t have to be that person. As my mother would say “If everyone jumped off a bridge, would you?”. I think it’s not fair to all rappers to say that rap can only be like this is and not be deeper than sex and partying, that every song needs to include date rape to sell. There are rappers who rap about war and politics. He’s only restricted by himself. He could have wrote an album talking about anything really and his fangirls would’ve bought it.
